Calling it "the best new American Musical since "Spring Awakening", Bloomberg News included the recent off-broadway production of "The Blue Flower" at Second Stage Theater in its list of "BEST SHOWS OF 2011", along with: "Jerusalem"; "The Book of Mormon"; "Venus in Fur"; "Blood and Gifts"; "Chinglish"; "Completeness"; "Other Desert Cities"; "Stick Fly"; and "Sweet and Sad".

"BLUE FLOWER" WINS NORTON AWARD FOR BEST MUSICAL
The 2011 Elliot Norton Awards were presented Monday night by The Boston Theater Critics Association for Boston-area theater productions. The Blue Flower won top awards for Outstanding Musical Production and Outstanding Design for the production at A.R.T.-The American Repertory Theater, in Cambridge, MA (Diane Paulus, Artistic Director; Diane Borger, Producer)

BLUE FLOWER WINS 6 IRNE AWARDS,
INCLUDING BEST MUSICAL
The Blue Flower has been awarded six 2010 IRNE Awards by the Independent Reviewers of New England for its recent production at A.R.T.-The American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, MA (Diane Paulus, Artistic Director; Diane Borger, Producer). The awards were announced at the awards ceremony held in Boston on April 25th:
